Bruce Crawford, a retired U.S. Army lieutenant general and senior vice president of strategic development at Jacobs’ critical mission solutions business, said in a statement published Tuesday the ASTRO contract awards enable the company to provide full lifecycle digital platforms and technologies designed to ensure resilience, assurance and interoperability for the Department of Defense and joint forces.
Crawford added that the company seeks to enable decision advantage among U.S. defense and federal customers by harnessing its mission experience, intelligence and cyber capabilities.
GSA announced in July the full list of awardees on the multiple-award ASTRO indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract, which is divided into 10 pools or functional domain areas and is managed by GSA’s Federal Systems Integration and Management Center.
Jacobs submitted bids and secured spots on all seven pools of the DOD-sponsored IDIQ contract: data operations; space; mission operations; ground; research; training; and development/systems integration.
