HPE will deliver fully managed cloud services on-premises through the HPE GreenLake platform to enable NSA to apply artificial intelligence, analytics and machine learning capabilities on large volumes of data, the company said Wednesday.
Justin Hotard, senior vice president and general manager of HPC and mission critical solutions at HPE, said applying analytics, AI and machine learning on high volumes of data requires HPC systems and the company will work to deliver HPC capabilities as a service using HPE GreenLake to help NSA meet its data needs.
The HPC as a service comes with HPE Apollo systems and HPE ProLiant servers, which support AI and deep learning capabilities and work to ingest and process large datasets.
HPE will build, oversee and host the whole platform at a QTS data center and expects the service to be operational in 2022.
