HII’s (NYSE: HII) Mission Technologies division will provide emerging intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance technologies for the National Security Innovation Network and its mission partners under a potential five-year, $1.4 billion task order awarded under the General Services Administration’s ASTRO contract vehicle.
The Joint Network Engineering and Emerging Operations task order has a one-year base term and four option years and includes cybersecurity, information assurance and communications support services, HII said Wednesday.
Andy Green, executive vice president and president of HII Mission Technologies, said the company is honored to back J-NEEO mission partners across all Department of Defense agencies, service branches and combatant commands to deploy technologies in support of the warfighters.
“We believe our team’s deep knowledge base and technical skills will accelerate research and development activities and position our mission partners to rapidly deploy and inject mission capability across the globe,” added Green, a five-time Wash100 awardee.
Support services to be provided under J-NEEO are similar to the scope of work under the Joint Capability Embedded Technology Insertion and Integration task order that was originally awarded to Alion Science and Technology, which was acquired by HII in 2021. The company has managed over 240 projects through the JCETII task order.
