Hebco has received a potential 10-year, $80M contract to provide technical order support and sustainment services for the U.S. Air Force™s fleet of A-10 Thunderbolt II jets.
The Oklahoma City-based company will also help the service branch update digital data and ensure technical accuracy of the Warthog aircraft under the indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract, the Department of Defense said Friday.
The Air Force Life Cycle Management Center will obligate $445,739 in fiscal 2019 operations and maintenance funds at the time of award.
Contract work will run through Aug. 1 2030.
A-10 Thunderbolt is a twin-engine aircraft originally developed by the Fairchild Republic Co. for the service branch before that company was acquired by Northrop Grumman (NYSE: NOC) in 1987.
