The General Services Administration has issued a request for information to assess the capabilities of small businesses to meet the information technology requirements of agency clients that will use the upcoming Polaris governmentwide acquisition contract.
An RFI notice posted Friday says GSA wants interested stakeholders to answer an electronic survey that asks about the small businesses’ experiences in delivering software development, IT operations and maintenance, data management, systems engineering, information and communications technology, cloud computing and cybersecurity services.
The survey also includes questions about the small contractors’ certification status, the number of IT services contracts completed, primary IT focus, industry credentials, cost accounting and purchasing systems and facility security clearance.
GSA wants to know about the experience of small companies in delivering support across several emerging technology areas, including artificial intelligence, blockchain, edge computing and automated and immersive technologies.
