General Dynamics‘ (NYSE: GD) information technology business has landed a spot on a potential $501M contract vehicle from the Department of Defense to support joint force development programs.
The company said Friday it will compete for task orders to provide cybersecurity, planning, execution and analysis services for Joint Chiefs of Staff ‘s J7 training activities through the multiple-award, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract.
Rich Farinacci, vice president and general manager of the naval and training solutions sector at General Dynamics Information Technology, said the award will extend GDIT’s partnership with the DoD to help address joint training challenges through a management and technical approach.
“We are excited to continue this work and focus on empowering our warfighters for every possible scenario,” Farinacci added.
Contract work occur in Suffolk, Va. The IDIQ contains a five-year base period plus a six-month option.
