General Dynamics (NYSE: GD) has received a potential $169.7 million contract modification from the U.S. Army to produce Hydra-70 unguided rocket systems for seven U.S. allies under the foreign military sales program.
The Defense Departmentsaid Monday the company will supply Hydra rockets with various warhead configurationsto Colombia, Afghanistan, Iraq, Qatar, India, Belgium and the United Arab Emirates.
General Dynamics will perform work in Williston, Vermont and is scheduled to finish work Jan. 31, 2019.
The Army Contracting Command obligated the full contract amount from its fiscal 2010, 2011, 2014 and 2016 “other” procurement funds at the time of award, DoD noted.
