General Dynamics to Provide Geospatial Technical Services Under $200M Army IDIQ; Adam Rudo Comments

General Dynamics™ (NYSE: GD) One Source business will provide technical support services to help the U.S. Army integrate, coordinate and synchronize geospatial data requirements and standards under a potential five-year, $200 million contract awarded in February.

The company said Friday it will also build geospatial enterprise-based platforms for warfighters under the Geospatial, Research, Integration, Development and Support III indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract that has a one-year base term and four one-year options.

Adam Rudo, acting vice president and general manager of intelligence solutions division at General Dynamics Information Technology, said the company provides geospatial operational support to the Defense Department and intelligence community worldwide and has an experienced team that is committed to building up geospatial research and development.

General Dynamics One Source and Leidos (NYSE: LDOS) secured spots on the GRIDS III contract awarded by the Army Corps of Engineers in support of the service™s geospatial center.
