General Electric‘s (NYSE: GE) aviation subsidiary has secured a nearly $284 million contract with the Defense Logistics Agency to provide helicopter engine supplies to the U.S. Army, Navy and Air Force.
The T-700 firm-fixed-price, requirements-type contract has a base performance period of five years and three months, ending on Dec. 31, 2026, the Department of Defense said Thursday.
DLA may exercise an option that provides a work extension with the same length as the base period. The agency will use working capital and defense appropriated funds for fiscal year 2022 through fiscal 2026 to pay for contractor services.
