General Dynamics‘ (NYSE: GD) information technology unit has won a $137.9 million contract to modernize a personal area network system of systems for the U.S. Air Force and foreign military sales customers.
The GDIT business will support Special Warfare Assault Kit technology refresh, tactical air control party modernization and Guardian Angel non-aircraft weapon system programs under the indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract, the Department of Defense said Friday.
Australia, Bahrain, Bosnia, Bulgaria, Canada, Chile, the Czech Republic, Estonia, India, Kenya, Latvia, Lithuania, Montenegro, the Netherlands, Pakistan, Poland, Portugal, Saudi Arabia, Slovenia, Spain and Turkey are the international clients.
The Air Force Life Cycle Management Center at Wright-Patterson AF Base received five bids for the project and will obligate $250,000 at the time of award using fiscal 2023 research, development, test and evaluation funds.
Contract work will occur in Dayton, Ohio, through June 15, 2033.
