The U.S. Navy has awarded a $143 million electronic warfare support contract to GDIT.

Navy Awards GDIT $143M Electronic Warfare Support Contract

General Dynamics Information Technology has secured a $143 million contract from the Naval Air Warfare Center Weapons Division, or NAWCWD, to support the engineering, logistics, intelligence analysis and demonstration of electronic warfare technologies.

NAWCWD’s Joint Electronic Attack Compatibility Office awarded the task order, which includes a one-year base period and four one-year option periods, in January, GDIT said Thursday.

NAWCWD Contract Requirements

Under the contract, GDIT will be involved in the demonstration of low-cost, agile EW jammers and other technologies that can be deployed on various airborne platforms, including aircraft, helicopters and drones.
