Frontier Electronic Systems has received a potential five-year, $72.9 million contract to manufacture sensor and data distribution systems for the U.S. Navy as well as the governments of Japan and South Korea.
The Defense Departmentsaid Wednesday the company will produce AN/SPQ-14 sensor distribution systems and AN/SPQ-15 data distribution systems for integration on ships.
The company will also provide engineering services and logistics support as requested under the indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract.
Frontier Electronic Systems will perform work at a company facility in Stillwater, Oklahoma, through June 2022.
The Naval Surface Warfare Center Dahlgren Division is the contracting activity and the service branch will obligate $1.9 million in foreign military sales funds for fiscal 2017 at the time of award.
