FCi Federal has received a potential five-year, $416 million contract from the Department of Homeland Security to provide processing, management and operations support for the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services national benefits center.
The USCIS national benefits center conducts security and background checks and assesses documents that individuals file in order to support their applications for benefits, FCi Federal said Tuesday.
“Legislative and regulatory changes can make for rapid shifts in U.S. immigration demand and application volume, yet the work must get done professionally, precisely and on time, ” said Sharon Virts, founder and CEO of FCi Federal.
The prime contract also covers file operations, data collection and correspondence management services and authorizes 1, 320 full-time employees.
The company started contract work at the centers offices in Kansas and Missouri Monday.
