DLH Gets IDIQ Contract for CDC Public Health Mgmt Support; Helene Fisher Quoted

DLH Holdings (Nasdaq: DLHC) has received a five-year, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention to offer public health management services to the Center for Preparedness and Response.

The IDIQ contract was awarded to DLHS as a partner of Booz Allen Hamilton (NYSE: BAH) on a blanket purchase agreement and includes scientific and medical consultation, strategic health communications and logistical support, DLH said Tuesday.

Helene Fisher, president of DLH’s mission services and solutions unit, said the company will build upon its 15-year relationship with the agency to demonstrate excellence as a federal health and human services provider.

Zach Parker, president and CEO of DLH, added the company will work to help CDC keep state and local communities safe from public health threats.

DLH supports federal health agencies through the provision of medical logistic planning, statistical analyses, epidemiology studies, data analytics and disease prevention outreach services.
