BP Products North America, a subsidiary of London-based oil and gas company BP, has received a potential one-year, $224.2 million contract to supply aviation turbine fuel to the Defense Logistics Agency.
DLA Energy in Fort Belvoir, Virginia, awarded the fixed-price contract through a competitive procurement process with 10 proposals received, the Defense Departmentsaid Monday.
The economic-price-adjustment contract has a carry-over period of 30 days and work will occur in Illinois and the Netherlands through July 31, 2017.
DLA Energy will use its defense working capital funds for fiscal 2016 to finance contract work, according to DoD.
