DCS has won a potential eight-year, $2.09 billion contract to support a U.S. Army research and development laboratory that works on advanced technology for military ground systems.
Army Contracting Command received three bids for the cost-plus-fixed-fee contract covering technical and engineering services to the Combat Capabilities Development Command Ground Vehicle Systems Center, the Department of Defense said Friday.
Headquartered in Warren, Michigan, GVSC helps the U.S. military develop and maintain systems in areas such as autonomy, power and mobility and force projection.
The government expects work to be complete by April 27, 2031.
Alexandria, Virginia-based DCS offers engineering and technical support services to DOD and other agencies focused on national security.
