A CSRA (NYSE: CSRA) subsidiary has received a potential five-year, $238 million task order to provide managed services for the Department of Veterans Affairs™ enterprise service desk.
SRA International will help migrate VA™s 12 national service desks to managed service provider facilities under the task order that has a one-year base term and four option years, CSRAsaid Tuesday.
œWe are excited to support our veterans and partner with the VA on this transformational program and support their journey to managed services, said Kamal Narang, vice president of CSRA™s federal health group.
CSRA will employ up to 500 additional employees in Barbourville, Kentucky, and Bossier City, Louisiana, to support work under the task order.
The company will also act as a single point of contact for enterprise-class tier 0/tier 1 information technology services in support of VA employees and related third parties that use the department™s software, applications, services and data through the task order.
The award came days after SRA secured a spot on a potential eight-year, $207 millionblanket purchase agreement for IT services with the Department of Health and Human Services.
