CSRA (NYSE: CSRA) has won a potential $498 million contract from the Defense Information Systems Agency to provide commercial infrastructure services for the milCloud 2.0 private cloud platform for Defense Department networks.
Five proposals were submitted to DISA for the indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract that covers milCloud transition engineering services to DoD and its partners, the department said Friday.
DISA provided $600,000 in fiscal 2017 defense working funds via the first task order as a minimum guarantee.
The contract contains a three-year base period that will run through June 8, 2020, as well as five one-year options.
MilCloud is an infrastructure-as-a-service platform designed to integrate mature commercial off-the-shelf and government developed technology to meet DoD’s cloud services needs.
