A SAM.gov solicitation notice posted Tuesday said the Department of Homeland Security component will select 8(a) companies to help design, develop, integrate and test new C5I and electronic systems under a potential five-year, $295 million multiple award contract.
The contractors will also be responsible for conducting system operational evaluation and sustainment activities as part of the indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract’s task orders.
The C5ISC develops and maintains computer networks, radars, satellite and radio-based communication links, navigation receivers and other systems in support of a variety of Coast Guard missions, including law enforcement, search and rescue, marine environmental protection and coastal security. Thus, the center continuously requires system support services.
Proposals from interested parties are due Nov. 15.
