CenturyLink (NYSE: CTL) has bought Herndon, Virginia-based managed security firm neAura for an undisclosed sum in a push to help organizations to secure their information technology systems.
“This acquisition helps us continue to deliver comprehensive security architectures to existing and future customers, ” Girish Varma, president of CenturyLink’s global IT services and new market development organization, said Wednesday.
NetAura provides analytics, vulnerability management, cybersecurity, security information and event management services to government and enterprise clients.
CenturyLink has updated its managed security services platform for customers to prevent, mitigate and respond to cyber threats.
The Monroe, Louisiana-based company offers consulting, application services development and management, quality assurance and remote infrastructure management services through its global IT services and new market development business.
