CACI International (NYSE: CACI) has received a potential five-year, $128M task order to support the U.S. Army’s development of visual augmentation, precision targeting and soldier maneuvering technologies.
CACI said Friday the order covers field service and training assistance for the project managers for Integrated Visual Augmentation Systems and Soldier Maneuver and Precision Targeting within the Program Executive Office for Soldier.
Contract work includes equipment training and technical support for various laser and imaging systems designed to expand situational awareness, mobility and lethality capacities for warfighters, according to the company.
“CACI is prepared to provide the Army with the expertise it needs to complete its missions overseas and minimize the risks to its soldiers,” said John Mengucci, president and CEO of CACI and a 2020 Wash100 Award recipient.
Technologies covered by the task order include the Lightweight Laser Designator Rangefinder, Enhanced Night Vision Goggles, Thermal Weapon Sight and Integrated Visual Augmentation System.
