Robert “Bud” Cramer
Exiger has named former government leaders Robert “Bud” Cramer, Ellen McCarthy and Bryan Ware to the advisory board to provide strategic guidance and leadership to help ensure that the company’s supply chain risk management platforms are aligned with the current and future needs of U.S. government and industry clients.
Cramer represented the 5th District of Alabama as a member of the House of Representatives and served on the House Appropriations and Transportation and Infrastructure Committees and Permanent Select Committee on Science and Intelligence, Exiger said Wednesday.
Ellen McCarthy
His industry career included time as managing director at FTI Consulting, chairman of Wexler & Walker Public Policy Associates and vice chairman of Capitol Hill Consulting Group.
McCarthy is an intelligence community veteran and a previous Wash100 awardee who most recently served as assistant secretary of State for the bureau of intelligence and research. Prior to the State Department, she served as president of Noblis NSP. She worked at the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency as chief operating officer and was president of the Intelligence and National Security Alliance.
Bryan Ware
Ware served as director of cybersecurity at the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency and assistant secretary at the Department of Homeland Security, where he advised on matters related to emerging technology. He is CEO of Next5, a technology-focused business intelligence company, and serves on the World Economic Forum’s Global Future Council on Cybersecurity.
The appointments came two months after Exiger named Ellen Lord, former undersecretary for acquisition and sustainment at the Department of Defense and a four-time Wash100 awardee, as chair of the advisory board and strategic senior adviser.
