Bryan Caccavale
Bryan Caccavale, formerly director of strategic sourcing at Huntington Ingalls Industries‘ (NYSE: HII) Newport News Shipbuilding division, has been appointed vice president of strategic sourcing in the same division.
He will report to Newport News President Jennifer Boykin and succeed John Temple, who is due to retire early next year after a 46-year career, Huntington Ingalls said Tuesday.
Bryan will bring strong financial experience to this role as we prepare to negotiate and procure material and services with our supplier businesses for submarines and aircraft carriers over the next decade, Boykin said.
Caccavale previously worked as director of business management for aircraft carrier construction, overhaul and inactivation efforts at the Newport News shipyard and supported its multiship procurement strategy for CVN 80 and 81 carriers of the U.S. Navy‘s Gerald R. Ford class.
He previously held various positions at Northrop Grumman (NYSE: NOC).
