Bret Taylor
Bret Taylor, formerly CEO and co-founder of collaboration platforms provider Quip, has joined Salesforce (NYSE: CRM) as president and chief product officer.
Taylor will oversee Salesforces go-to-market strategy, product vision, development and design efforts in his new role, the company said Tuesday.
He previously served as chief technology officer of Facebook (Nasdaq: FB) before he established Quip, which was acquired by Salesforce in 2016.
Alex Dayon
Taylor co-founded social networking firm FriendFeed, helped create Google Maps at Google and currently serves as a board member at Twitter (NYSE: TWTR).
Alex Dayon, a nine-year Salesforce veteran, has been appointed president and chief strategy officer with responsibility over the customer relationship management technology companys strategic initiatives.
Dayon founded InStranet, which was purchased by Salesforce in 2008, and led the product group as a founding member of Business Objects.
Taylor and Dayon will directly report to Marc Benioff, chairman and CEO of Salesforce.
