Booz Allen Hamilton (NYSE: BAH) has secured a potential $85 million contract from the U.S. Navy to provide technical services in support of a unit responsible for manning and training information warfare forces.
The firm-fixed-price, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity award seeks to help Naval Information Forces bridge gaps in operational level of war manpower, personnel, training and education over a potential five-and-a-half-year period, the Department of Defense said Friday.
Booz Allen will conduct the majority of contract work in Suffolk, Virginia, from July 2023 to June 2028 as part of the base award worth $76.6 million. The contractor’s services could extend until December 2028 if the additional six-month ordering period option is exercised.
The Navy will obligate $2,500 from fiscal 2023 operations and maintenance funds to Booz Allen, which will perform services on a task order basis.
