Boeing (NYSE: BA) received a five-year, $92.3M contract to provide engineering services for aircraft and weapon systems supporting the U.S. Navy as well as the government of Kuwait.
The service branch will allocate $791,695 for the first task order under the cost-plus-fixed-fee and indefinite-quantity contract, the Department of Defense said Thursday.
The undefinitized award covers engineering technical support for the AV-8B attack aircraft, EA-18G Growler electronic attack aircraft, F/A-18 Hornet supersonic jet, C-40 transport plane and P-8A Poseidon anti-submarine and surface warfare aircraft.
Work will primarily take place in Japan while other activities will occur within and outside the continental U.S.
The Pentagon expects Boeing to complete services by December 2024.
