Boeing (NYSE: BA), StandardAero and AAR Corp. (NYSE: AIR) have secured one-year contract modifications worth $412.9M combined to continue providing support services for P-8A Poseidon maritime patrol planes of the U.S. Navy, Australia and other foreign military customers.
AAR’s aircraft services business will work to address repair, planner and estimator requirements, perform depot-level maintenance, incorporate technical directives, modify airframes, support aircraft on ground and replace or remove engines, the Department of Defense said Wednesday.
The two other contractors will support maintenance, engine overhaul and repair, field assessment and engine replacement efforts.
All three companies initially won indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contracts worth a combined $269M in February 2018.
