Bill Protzman, previously executive vice president and head of the U.S. Army and Marine Corps sector at DCS, stepped up as the company’s president and chief operating officer.
DCS said Tuesday Protzman succeeded Larry Egbert and will be responsible for executing customer initiatives and meeting strategic growth targets.
Protzman’s duties also cover financial management, annual budgeting, business development and chairmanship of the DCS Quality Council. Prior to his promotion, he took on various roles over his 31-year tenure at the company such as software engineer and division manager.
“Bill skillfully led our Army and Marine Corps Sector through a prolonged period of expansion and growth,” DCS CEO Jim Benbow remarked. “I am confident that our culture of employee empowerment and unyielding dedication to customer success will continue to thrive under Bill’s direction.”
