Bastion Technologies has received a potential eight-year, $267.5 million contract to perform safety and mission assurance support at NASA‘s Huntsville, Alabama-based Marshall Space Flight Center.
NASA said Saturday the company will also provide technical and engineering services to MSFC’s safety and mission assurance directorate, the Stennis Space Center Mississippi and the Michoud Assembly Facility in Louisiana.
Work also covers industrial safety, SMA management, quality assurance, safety engineering, risk management, independent assessment, documentation and reporting services for various NASA programs such as the Space Launch System, the International Space Station and other flight projects.
The small business set-aside contract has a two-year base period and six one-year options.
Houston-based Bastion Technologies provides support to the aerospace, defense and oil and gas industries in the information technology, safety assurance, structural and mechanical design and analysis, systems engineering and training areas.
