The U.S. Army has awarded 10 companies positions on a potential 10-year, $921.1 million contract to help prolong the service life of the military branch’s tactical engagement simulation systems.
The Department of Defense said Thursday Army Contracting Command launched an internet solicitation and received 10 offers for the hybrid contract.
The service will obligate funding and determine work locations upon issuance of task orders.
Contract work is expected to conclude on March 5, 2035.

Simulation Tech Supply Contracts
In 2016, Cubicsecured contracts from the Army to supply tactical engagement simulation systems for use in training exercise scenarios.
Saab was also awarded Army contract options to provide laser-based simulators for the service’s military combat ground vehicles.
