Two business units under Palantir Technologies and BAE Systems have won spots on a potential seven-year, $823.3M contract to update and replace parts of the U.S. Army’s centralized ground infrastructure for intelligence operations.
Palantir USG and BAE’s information and electronic systems integration segment will compete for orders under the firm-fixed-price award to support the Distributed Common Ground System-Army, the Department of Defense said Tuesday.
Army Contracting Command sought offers for the contract in July 2019 and received six bids through an online solicitation process. The service branch will determine funds and work locations upon issuance of individual orders.
