The U.S. Army has awarded Alliance for Counter Narcoterrorism, CACI International (NYSE: CACI), Mission Essential Personnel and Leidos (NYSE: LDOS) a four-year, $480 million contract to provide support to the Defense Department‘s Counter-Narcoterrorism Technology Program office.
DoD said Thursday the Army Space and Missile Command received seven bids for the contract and will determine both funding and work location with each order.
The department expects contract services to complete by June 2020.
CNTPO works to support federal agencies’ domestic and international counter-narcotics and counter-narcoterrorism operations and programs with rapid response contracting vehicles, as well as develops technology for anti-narcoterrorist activities.
