Andrew Hartsog, who served in the military and civilian government for nearly three decades, has joined Herndon, Virginia-based risk management and mission support services provider Constellis as vice president of special projects for national security programs.
Hartsog’s “extensive experience in National Security includes dozens of assignments in over 30 countries across the Middle East, South Asia, Latin America, Europe, and Africa spanning multiple war zones and conflict area tours that include leadership and command assignments,” Terry Ryan, CEO of Constellis and a previous Wash100 awardee, said in a statement published Friday.
Hartsog worked for 23 years at the CIA, serving as a paramilitary operations officer and holding leadership roles both abroad and at the agency’s headquarters within the directorate of operations.
Prior to joining the CIA, he served within the U.S. Army Special Forces.
He sits on the board of Badger Six and board of advisers of nonprofit organization FAMIL, according to his LinkedIn profile.
