An Introduction to Andreas Nonnenmacher
Andreas Nonnenmacher joined the ARKA Group in September 2020 as the President. He leads the company’s growth and innovation strategies by leveraging his over 20 years of experience working in the defense and government solutions industry.
In this capacity, Mr. Nonnenmacher actively contributed to ARKA’s transformation through the acquisition of Danbury Mission Technologies, The Stratagem Group, AMERGINT Technologies, Tethers Unlimited, and Lumacron Technology.
By leading the acquisition of these companies, Andreas Nonnenmacher catapulted the company into a prime provider of cutting-edge solutions. These solutions promote warfighters’ capabilities on the battlefield and next-generation software and hardware development for the most critical missions.
Andreas Nonnenmacher graduated from Colgate University with a Bachelor of Arts in Physics and German. He also holds a Master of Arts degree in Physics from the University of Connecticut.

ARKA President Andreas Nonnenmacher made it to the list of 100 leaders recognized by EM’s Wash100 Awards this year. His first award acknowledged his efforts in propelling and spearheading ARKA’s defense innovation initiatives.
During the awarding ceremony, Mr. Nonnenmacher highlighted that his award reflects ARKA’s teamwork and mission to shape a brighter future. “As ARKA continues to grow, we’re honored to be recognized for our work supporting national security space and technology. To be among such an inspiring class of honorees is both exciting and humbling. I’m proud to lead such a dedicated team and bring world-class solutions to our customers and the nation,” he said.
