Amentum-Jacobs-Honeywell Alliance Wins $8.3B DOE IDIQ for Oak Ridge Site Cleanup Services

An industry team composed of Amentum, Jacobs (NYSE: J) and Honeywell (Nasdaq: HON) has won a potential 10-year, $8.3 billion contract to support environmental cleanup efforts across the Department of Energy Oak Ridge Reservation in Tennessee.

United Cleanup Oak Ridge, a limited liability company formed by the winning team, will help DOE implement remedial measures at the East Tennessee Technology Park under the indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract, the department said Tuesday.

UCOR will also remove excess facilities at the Y-12 National Security Complex and the Oak Ridge National Laboratory and build and operate a disposal facility on site. RSI EnTec, Strata-G, Longenecker & Associates and Environmental Alternatives are the subcontractors for the program.

The department’s environmental management office received five bids for the Oak Ridge Reservation Cleanup Contract and selected UCOR’s offer based on the “best value” sourcing method.

ORRCC will succeed the ETTP cleanup contract held by URS|CH2M Oak Ridge and scheduled to expire Jan. 31.
