Altamira Technologies has bought engineering services contractor APG Technologies for an undisclosed sum as part of efforts to strengthen existing customer relationships and expand geographic reach across the intelligence, defense and aerospace markets.
APG works with customer agencies to help them manage complex information systems and use data to make national security decisions, Altamira said Tuesday.

The deal comes nearly six months after Altamira acquired Columbia, Maryland-based Prime Solutions, a cybersecurity services provider to the intelligence community.
Altamira President and CEO Ted Davies said the company made the acquisition to supplement its push to build up technology and services offerings for the intelligence community.
APG provides advanced engineering services in the multi-intelligence analysis, space situational awareness and mission management areas.
Advisory firm Rock Hall Partners represented APG on the transaction.
