Julie Barth, an enterprise business executive with over three decades of experience across the national security community, has joined Alpha Omega as senior vice president of business development.
In a LinkedIn post published Monday, Alpha Omega described Barth as a growth leader with deep customer relationships, sharp market instincts and a track record of connecting mission needs with the right solutions.
What Are Barth’s Responsibilities?
In her new role, Barth will work to grow Alpha Omega’s Department of Homeland Security business while expanding the company’s opportunities across the Department of War and federal civilian markets, according to the company’s announcement.
Alpha Omega also said Barth brings broader leadership experience across the national security community, citing her prior advisory board service with the Washington Homeland Security Roundtable and the Border Patrol Foundation.
Who Is Julie Barth?
Barth is a business development executive who has spent her career helping companies build and grow their presence in government markets, according to her LinkedIn profile.
Before joining Alpha Omega, Barth served as director of business development at Amentum. She previously worked as corporate senior director of growth at Washington Business Dynamics and, prior to that, ran her own consultancy, Barth Marketing Services, where she supported technology-focused business development, marketing and strategy work for both large and small companies.
Earlier in her career, Barth served as VP of strategy at SAIC, where she led strategic analysis to support the company’s expansion into virtual reality, unmanned systems and space situational awareness. She also served as VP of business development at CACI International, where she was responsible for the company’s DHS portfolio.
The Virginia Tech Pamplin College of Business marketing management graduate holds an MBA from the same university.
How Does the Appointment Align With Alpha Omega’s Growth Initiatives?
Barth’s appointment comes as Alpha Omega continues to build out its leadership bench and expand its federal footprint. The company recently named Brittney Chappell and Sri Kothuri to VP roles supporting national security missions.
On the delivery side, Alpha Omega introduced its Continuum Automation Framework to accelerate federal modernization, later expanding the framework’s accelerators onto the CDAO’s Tradewinds Solutions Marketplace and landing its Continuum Code offering on the Platform One Solutions Marketplace. In a recent blog post, Alpha Omega CEO Gautam Ijoor, a previous Wash100 awardee, revealed that the company has formalized its Continuum Automation Framework across cloud migration, cybersecurity and other critical domains and outlined a structured approach to integrating artificial intelligence into federal IT delivery.
The company has also continued to win contracts, including a $58 million BPA from the State Department for IT modernization support.
