The Vienna, Virginia-based firm said Monday the appointments come as it works to realign its business units to support national security and resilience missions.

The company recently named Michael Bruce senior VP of national security to oversee its federal national security portfolio, mission programs and account teams supporting military and federal agencies, including the U.S. Army, U.S. Navy, U.S. Air Force, the State Department and the Department of Homeland Security.

“As federal missions become more complex, leadership that can connect strategy, acquisition and technical execution is essential,” said Eric Laychock, chief operating officer of Alpha Omega. “Michael, Brittney, and Sri bring exactly that combination and will help strengthen how we support the national security and resilience missions our customers depend on.”

In a LinkedIn post, Chappell said she is excited to join Alpha Omega as VP of capture.

“I’ve spent my career inside the government ecosystem learning how federal acquisition really works, the strategy behind it, the people behind it, and the mission it’s meant to serve,” Chappell noted. “Now, I get to apply that lens from the industry side; helping teams compete smarter and align better with government priorities.”
