Five companies have landed spots on a potential 10-year, $473M contract vehicle to provide personnel and management support to the U.S. Air Forces precision measurement equipment laboratories.
The Enterprise Contracted PMEL Services II contract will include the provision of materials, tools and other items necessary for professional and technical metrologists to calibrate equipment for the military service, the Defense Departmentsaid Tuesday.
The Air National Guard, Air Combat Command and other major USAF components will receive contractor support under the IDIQ.
USAF received five offers for the indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract via a competitive acquisition process and will allocate $1.3M in fiscal 2019 operations and maintenance funds to address the current requirement.
