Boeing (NYSE: BA) has secured a potential 10-year, $983 million indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract from the U.S. Air Force to provide engineering support services such analysis and technical instructions for multiple types of aircraft.
The Defense Departmentsaid Tuesday that Boeing will perform non-recurring engineering, introduce product updates and implement retrofit changes to support recurring and non-recurring activities that involve the VC-25, E-4B, C-32A, C-40B/C, E-8C and NT-43 aircraft platforms.
The Air Force Life Cycle Management Center will obligate $61.8 million in fiscal 2017 operations and maintenance funds for the initial task order under the sole-source contract.
The company will perform work predominantly in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, and is scheduled to finish Jan. 31, 2027.
