AECOM‘s (NYSE: ACM) management services group has landed a potential seven-year, $961 million contract to help the U.S. Air Force maintain and operate remotely piloted aircraft.
The company said Tuesday it will provide organizational-level maintenance services for MQ-9 Reaper and RQ-4 Global Hawk systems, as well as support MQ-9 aircrew operators worldwide.
“RPA systems are at the forefront of detecting, identifying and engaging threats to peace, and we are honored to contribute to their operations and maintenance,” said John Vollmer, president of AECOM’s management services group and a 2018 Wash100 recipient.
Work under the single-award indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity contract began March 23.
The IDIQ contains a seven-year period of performance and a six-month extension period.
AECOM noted the award will expand its level of support work on unmanned aerial systems and operations centers for U.S. military and commercial clients.
