The U.S. Special Operations Command has picked an additional six businesses to compete for mission support task orders under a potential $900 million indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract.
The contract has a five-year ordering period that will run through July 28, 2020, and covers SOCOM-wide program management, engineering and technical and professional services, the Defense Departmentsaid Friday.
SOCOM unveiled the original four contractors for the program last year.
The command issued the new round of awards in response to a bid protest, according to DoD.
New companies added to the contract include:
ACADEMI Training Center
AECOM-URS
ARMA Global
Fulcrum
Jacobs Engineering Group (NYSE: JEC)
Raytheon’s (NYSE: RTN) technical services business
Raytheon’s Blackbird Technologies subsidiary is listed as an original awardee on the contract.
