The U.S. Navy has awarded contracts with a combined total of $2.65 billion to 17 companies for repair, maintenance and modernization services for Littoral Combat Ships homeported in San Diego, California.

Contract Details
The indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity, multiple award contracts will utilize firm-fixed-price and cost-plus-fixed-fee delivery orders for the required services. The awardees will receive an initial fund of $10,000 each for a total of $170,000, which will be allocated from the Navy’s fiscal 2025 operations and maintenance funds by the Naval Sea Systems Command in Washington, D.C., at the time of the award. The initial amount will expire after the current fiscal year, while additional funding will be released with each delivery order.
The contractors will conduct work at the homeport area in San Diego, California. The project is expected to run through May 2030.
The contract was competitively awarded online, with 28 companies submitting their proposals.
