Ten companies won spots on a potential 10-year, $485 million contract to provide supporting equipment for the KC-46 aircraft fleets of the U.S. Air Force and foreign military customers.
Under the indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract, ground-based support equipment will be delivered to U.S. and foreign military operating bases until June 28, 2033, the Department of Defense said Thursday.
The KC-46 Pegasus is a 767 plane developed by Boeing (NYSE: BA) for aerial refueling and military transport missions. Aside from USAF, militaries from Israel and previously ordered units of the aircraft.
