Aug. 3 Morning Report: GovCon Index Up on Friday’s Close


GovConIndexUPThe GovCon Index recorded a one-day gain of 0.240 points to close at 76.270 Friday,  up 1.85 percent from its July 24 closing figure of 74.888.

The Dow Jones Industrial Average declined 55.52 points to 17, 690.46, the S&P 500 composite index lost 4.71 points to 2, 103.92 and the NASDAQ composite index closed down 0.5 points to 5, 128.28.
