Teledyne Buys X-Ray Tech Maker ICM; Robert Mehrabian Comments

Teledyne Technologies (NYSE: TDY) has purchased X-ray technology manufacturer Industrial Control Machines SA for an undisclosed amount.

Liege, Belgium-based ICM provides portable X-ray generators for testing applications and X-ray imaging systems for on-site security screening work, Teledyne said Friday.

Robert Mehrabian, chairman, president and CEO of Teledyne, said the company targeted the industrial, security and scientific client bases through the acquisition.

Teledyne carried out the transaction through one of its subsidiaries in the Netherlands.
