TASC has been awarded a $25 million contract to help the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency test and procure geospatial intelligence applications.
The company will seek to implement a commercial approach to acquisitions of mobile, web and desktop GEOINT applications from academia, small businesses and developers, TASC said Friday.
Contract work will occur over a one-year base period of performance and up to three option years.
Amanda Brownfield, senior vice president of TASCâs intelligence services and analytics sector, said the company aims to help NGA “bridge the gap between traditional government contracting procedures and non-traditional businesses.”
âWe hope to generate interest across a broad range of developers and bring NGA innovative products that fully address its security, performance and mission requirements.â
