SES to Provide Army Network With Satellite Capacity Under AIS Subcontract


SatelliteSES Government Solutions has secured a five-year subcontract from AIS Engineering to provide the U.S. Army with satellite capacity to support the Warfighter Information Network – Tactical system.

SES GS said Tuesday the satellite capacity will facilitate Army research and development work and applications testing on the WIN-T system.

The company noted that it has helped AIS design WIN-T and its satellites have been supporting the system for six years.

The SES subsidiary is based in McLean, Virginia.
