Transcom is working to install increment three of the Defense Personal Property System and selected CACI to refresh the software and performing systems engineering work, CACI said Thursday.
“The Defense Personal Property System supports the movement and storage of some 600, 000 personal property shipments valued at more than $2.2 billion, ” said John Mengucci, CACI chief operating officer and president of U.S. operations.
“This contract with the U.S. Transportation Command represents new work for CACI, ” said Ken Asbury, CACI president and CEO.
Transcom awarded the contract to CACI through the Defense Information Systems Agency‘s Encore II contract vehicle.
