Andrea Shalal-Esa writes that Lockheed operates in 70 countries and in February opened a new headquarters in Riyadh, the Saudi capital.
Pat Dewar, Lockheed senior vice president for corporate strategy and business development, told Reuters that $8 billion of the company’s revenue came from foreign operations, 17 percent of its total $47 billion in revenue.
Dewar also told Reuters the company is certain it will reach its 20-percent goal for overseas revenue.
Lockheed sees more opportunities in overseas markets for areas such as cybersecurity and civilian projects, Dewar said to Reuters.
